Protecting the Amazon: Indigenous Outreach Benefit
Description :A fundraiser for the Tribal communities of the Amazon Rainforest.

Join us for an evening of Story Telling, Demonstrations of Culture, Speakers, and Ceremony.


Topics included will be::
First Hand experiences of living in the Amazon by Timo Gualinga
Socio-Political influence of foreign powers and it's effects on Indigenous communities.
Dangers of Ecocide including cattle farming, logging, and petroleum extraction.
Losing Medicine.
Loss of culture and traditional ways of life.
What can we do in our every day lives to help.

There will be a small traditional dinner served for a donation of $3.00
This is a FREE event. Come to learn!
But this is also a fundraiser, to directly support the Indigenous tribes of the Amazon.

Doors open at 6:30
Opening Ceremony starts at 7:00
