Since October 2001 a small group has joined together every-other Wednesday evening for meditation based on a model developed by the Global Renaissance Alliance. Our group is part of a network of such groups across the country and indeed around the world. The organizing principle is that if enough people begin to focus attention on peace, envisioning peace and sharing their vision then the vision grows and can influence the course of events in the world. We meet in a circle either down by the bay or around a fire and meditate for 20 minutes and then share our experiences. If you are looking for a positive way to contribute to change and a chance to feel that you are doing something to create peace for yourself and the world, please consider joining us. And plan to stay for the potluck dinner afterwards. It's a great way to make friends with like-minded people.
