Volunteering at Sacred Lands
This is Erik Anderson. I am one of the founders of Sacred Lands and president of the board. I am also the new volunteer coordinator at Sacred Lands.
This year we will be offered a wide variety of interesting, educational, and entertaining events. We are very excited about this year and are already in the planning stages for next year.
We typically try to put on at least one program per month in addition to the biweekly peace circles and monthly drum circle and earth honoring ceremony.
We are looking for people of all skill levels to assist with a wide variety of tasks; such as event setup, breakdown, food prep, food servers, greeters, security, parking, and etc. We try to spread out the task load so everyone has the opportunity to experience and enjoy some of the event for themselves. The more volunteers for each event the better.
There is also a need for people with clerical and computer skills to assist with such tasks as typing, printing, copying, etc. Sacred Lands is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit and in a position to apply for grants and could use assistance in this area as well.
Speaking from personal experience this is a great opportunity to be a part of an incredible organization, meet a lot of interesting people, and participate in a wide variety of experiences, and have a lot of fun doing it.
There are special tours and orientations regularly scheduled. For questions, signing up, and orientation dates you can contacts us by clicking here, volunteer. We look forward to hearing from you.
You can also go to the campfire forum to see posts, comments, and descriptions on what volunteering is all about here (if your a registered user, you can add your own). Go to volunteering.
We appreciate all you sacred lands supporters and will look forward to hearing back from many of you
Sincerely Erik Anderson
