Volunteering at Sacred Lands

Hi everyone! This is Doug McCallie. I'm the new volunteer coordinator at Sacred Lands. We are getting ready to start up this season's events and are looking for volunteers to help with all phases.

This year as with past years we will be offering a wide variety of interesting, educational, & entertaining events. We're very excited about this year and already in the planning stages for the next year.

We typically try to put on at least one program per month, however when opportunity arises occasionally two. These events vary in size and length with there being three basic phases to them; pre, during, and post event.

We're looking for people of all skill levels to assist with a wide variety of tasks. Such as set up, break down, food prep, food servers, greeters, security, parking, and many more. We try to spread out the task load so that everyone has the opportunity to experience and enjoy some of the event for them selves, so the more the better.

There is also a need for skills in clerical, computer, and internet services to assist with such tasks as typing, printing, copying, etc. We are now officially a 501C3 nonprofit and are in a position to apply for grants and could use assistance in this area as well.

Speaking from personal experience this is a great opportunity to be a part of an incredible organization, meet a lot of interesting people, participate in a wide variety of experiences, and have a lot of fun doing it.
